What is included in our groundworks and civils service?
Distinctive Paving delivers groundworks and civils packages for housebuilders, developers and commercial clients across Kent, Essex, London and the Home Counties, from site clearance and foundations through to drainage, kerbs and finished surfacing.
Groundworks set the programme for everything that follows. Our crews handle site clearance, reduced level digs, foundations, concrete slabs and pads, below ground drainage, service ducts and chambers, then return to lay the roads, paths and hardstandings on top.
Keeping the groundworks and the surfacing with one contractor removes a handover between trades. Levels are set by the same team that will pave to them, so falls work, drainage outlets line up and the finished surfaces go down on a base we built ourselves.
We hold CHAS Elite, SMAS Worksafe, Constructionline Gold and ISO 9001 accreditation, carry £10m public liability and £10m employers liability insurance, and work to the health and safety and quality systems main contractors expect.
