What we delivered at Beaulieu Park, Chelmsford
38,880m² of Tobermore block paving
On an installation only package the blocks are supplied by others and our crews lay them. The value we bring is the laying itself: setting out, screeding the bedding layer, laying to pattern, cutting in around edges and ironwork, then compacting and jointing to the specification.
At close to 39,000m², that is roughly five and a half full size football pitches of block paving, laid by hand to line and level.
A package of this size depends on keeping several gangs productive at once, so the paving keeps pace with the rest of the programme and each area is handed over ready for use.
